My name is Hannah. I am a fiery red-headed introvert who enjoys reading.
Reading has changed my life.
When I was a young girl, my safe haven was my local library. I would bike up a steep hill to go and dive into the world of Anne of Green Gables or Dealing with Dragons. The older I became, the more I sought refuge in books. I see books as love letters, time machines, portals to other countries or unearthly worlds, home away from home, and magnifying glasses for society.
As an adult, I love reading anything and everything: mythology, “books to read before you die”, literary classics, epic fantasy, and children’s literature. C.S. Lewis said, “We read to know we are not alone”. So, I started this blog as a space to write letters to the books I read, and provide a place to for readers everywhere to feel a little spot of home.
